hi, been upto the plot today and my spuds which looked healthy before only a couple of inches tall all look like they have been burnt,  any ideas?

Yes they should recover.

As DD. says, there have been about 5 other threads about this in the last day or so, have a browse to reassure yourself further.

 Mine look exactly the same & I cant earth up anymore.

 Just leave them & they should recover just fine.
