Indoor or outdoor?

The females have a small embryonic cucumber behind the flower, males only have a thin stalk. (No tittering at the back).
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I have 2 different sorts of cuc's the first are mini cuc's which came with no instructions and where bought as small plants  These are no flowering and to my novice eye appear to be an all female variety?? as i don't see any male flowers and all flowers appear to be growing fruit (alot of it judging by it!!)

the second are regular variety which the packet insisted NEEDS the male flowers to be left on?!

Ok fine..

first question, do i really need to leave the male flowers?? 2ndly if my first set of cuc's are all females (something i didn't realise when buying) won't the make flowers from the 2nd variety cause the female flowers to get pollenated causing bitter cuc's?
