Looks grand to me - are they your trees?
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

Its all for me to do as I please. The house is an old gate house and the garden is unused so its for me to use as long as I want it. which is just amazing as I live near town in a little semi with a postage stamp for a garden.

There is a couple of old apple and plum trees down the one side and I am thinking I will add lots more fruit to that bit.

Am I right in saying this is someone elses garden you have managed to get to use as an allotment? Please do tell how you managed to do it. Looks a good size, enjoy turning it into a great plot. :)

Yes its is a friend of my mums she is a really lovely generous person. My mum was telling her that I was on the waiting list for an allotment and on the Landshare scheme and she said she had been looking for someone for a few years to use that part of her garden and would I like it !

That is really what landshare is, people offering their gardens for use. you register your intrest in finding land to grow and other people register their land for use.

I was just Lucky with this one.

What do you do for water? Does the owner provide that as well or is she on a meter? You are very lucky despite all the hard work you have ahead of you.  :)

She has a water butt and an outside tap and happy for me to use it. but we are putting a shed in at the weekend so I will prob add a couple of water butts to that too. I saw its not easy being green a while ago and they recycled water bottles to make guttering just cut them lenght ways and glued them together will give that a whirl.
