Hi all,
I wonder if anyone can help me? I bought some cambridge fav straw plants a couple of weekes ago and they have been planted up in separate containers (good drainage, mix of good compost, manure and soil) They were all looking well, I have been watering them in, say ever 3/4 days as we had rain. I have just noticed that the big leaves  (sorry new to this so not sure of corret name, maybe the runners?) on two of the plants have started to dry at the edges, turning brown and moving inwards and around the leaf. Could this be down to watering problems, or perhaps a disease? The crown looks fine and the stems of the biguns aren't dropping. I have checked books etc but can't work out what could be the problem.

earthing83 I planted the exact same on my lottie about a month ago and the same has happened on 1 of my 8 plants. New leaves are being happily produced from the plant and so I'm not worried at the moment (don't know whether I should be mind you!)

hi ya,we planted the same kind in novenber time i think,and i have noticed the same thing happening,but again the crown looks healthy enough,so wont lose any sleep over it..
