Tomato rot
« on: September 13, 2015, 17:19 »
Some of my tomatoes are rotting at the stem and falling off the plant. Other tomatoes on same plant are healthy.Any suggestions would be helpful.

Could it just be they're ripe? Alternatively grey mould?

Yup, Botrytis strikes again - the same thing is happening in one of my greenhouse, so stripped it out the other day.

The toms are now ripening on a tray in the kitchen, I'll be watching them like a hawk, for any sign of spoilage  ::)
