Wet and blustery since first thing.

Same as every body else, very wet and windy.   Driving  to work this morning when we got to the coastal road we usually use u p the west of the Wight, at really exposed areas, Paul had problems to keep the van on our side of the road.   The sea was very rough but there were still some surfers still out there (silly fools).

It's been pretty steady all day but no cloudbursts - about 35mm in the last 24 hours. It did turn to wet snow / sleet but it's back to rain now. Just over 2ºC now at 11:30pm

The greenhouse doors are still frozen shut, so can't tell what the overnight low was, but one thing is sure - it was COLD  It's only 2C now Brrr!
