silvery circle on base of toms?
« on: August 15, 2019, 07:18 »
Some of my toms have a silvery circle on their base. I thought it might be blossom end rot but they don't look manky like the photos I've seen on google. Any other things which could cause it? I'm wondering if I slice it off whether they are edible! It hasn't affected all the toms on the plant, just some.  8)

Looks like blossom end rot where a bit of mold has got in. If there's any left when you cut it all out, it should be edible. It can go a far way into the centre of the fruit.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
