first egg -speckeled?

hello dont know if this is normal but my very first egg which was laid today by one of my pullets is brown with white speckles on and the speckles are all over is this due to the fact that it was a very first egg? Or is there an underlying problem? Also can the egg be eaten?

it may be her just getting the calcium deposits sorted, the eggs should even out in colour over the next few days  :)
