is it ok to mix the layers pellets and oyster shell and grit together and feed as one please ?

I leave the oyster shell and grit down all the time for them to get as an when :)

Ye I actually use the large plant trays the sort you put under household plant pots.

I put holes in the bottom to let any rain water out and leave them on the garden.

Just top them up as an when needed :)

its anthony by the way ..... cant wait to get my chooks it was a big ambition to keep them again !
had a mixed bunch of bantams when i was a kid and i wasnt the best keeper in the world so want to make a good job of it this time round ! :D

Waiting to get them is the horrible, I'm so impatient when waiting for eggs to hatch  :lol:
Gives you time to read up stuff, I find I'm always learning from here, such a great place.

I started out with 2 bantys just ova 3 years ago & now have loads, including Geese, Ducks and Guinea Fowl.
I'd be lost with out them :D

Don't forget to put photo's on as soon as you get them  :lol:
