i took my girls to the vets well 2 of them that had dodgy eyes. an he has suggested that they have malcoplasma { spelt wrong   i know } , but they are all now on baytril which is in thier water so i am hoping they will all pick up but the vet did advice me not to eat or give the eggs away for a month   { nottttttttttttt good }.
it was funny though as i finish work at 2,30 and i had to be there at 3 i just got there in time an good thing is this vet knows lots about all birds thankfully and he did not charge me £38 consultantion fee so that was a blessing only had to pay for the drugs well mum did

A month! Ouch!
Interestingly the vet didn't tell me the withdrawal period (then again she kept referring to the girl I took in as He so not on her mind and I was worrying about other things!
Not much of an issue as I haven't had an egg in months! Watch them all start laying now I can't eat them! I think I would be too overcome with excitement to care

Fingers crossed they all pick up quick the Looby. My vet always asks me if I sell the eggies, when I say no he says 1 week withdrawal but if I were selling it would be 3 :? ask Foxy just to make sure cos you may get a nice surprise

My vet just said 7 days & didn't even ask if I sold them :!:

I've always used the withdrawl date for slaughter listed on the medication as a guide, if I can't find that I use 14 days.
