Hop seeds are very hard to get to germinate.
You are better off growing a named variety plant.
Good luck with the seeds or ask if someone has got a little bit of root you could have, much easier to grow from this.

P.s. If anyone has got a little bit of root going spare please PM me.

I have a Golden Tassels dwarf hops growing happily in a big pot if you are interested in a cutting from that. It grows about 2.5m tall which is easier for me in my little garden but the hops are usual size (apparently, wouldn't know, never seen ordinary ones ::)). It took a couple of years to start producing but seems to have got the hang of it now.

Don't know how to take root cuttings but if someone knows how and you are interested will happily send some out.
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.
