Two pictures don't have helpful titles so out272 is Sheba, the Terveuren and DSCF1090 is Lillie the very friendly Staffy - and a rescue.

Lillie really was a lovely dog, our daughter's step-granddaughter used to include Lillie in her tea parties.  I think that she would have preferred that they were real buns and sandwiches though.

Sheba, also a rescue, was very spinsterish but children could climb all over her.

We always rescue dogs from the breed society never from the pound.

Staffies are generally the softest dogs you could hope to meet, the kennel club only states 2 breeds are suitable for children and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier is one of those breeds.
Obviously all dogs are capable of attacking both other dogs and people but in the records of attacks Staffies are way down the list.

She's a cockapoo, Snowdrops (cross between a cocker spaniel and a miniature poodle). Yes, she's seriously cute and responding well to training.
It's been years since we had a dog and I was resistant to getting another one. But in the end the pros outweighed the cons and I'm delighted with our new little pup.

Hehe - Loki is a lurcher, Beekissed. Not sure you've got an equivalent on your side of the pond but it's a type of cross, between a sighthound type and a working type, normally a terrier or a herding breed. Most regions of the UK have their lurchers, adapted to their terrain : it's a dog expected to hunt and generally make itself useful. Loki is predominantly whippet x border collie, with a bit of greyhound and a bit of bull terrier in there somewhere.

Over here those are called curs, which is another name for a hunting type mutt that someone is breeding intentionally for the combination of the individual traits of the original genetics, they are highly regarded for their individual skill set in hunting, breed true when the type is developed by breeders and are invaluable on any farm or homestead. 

Most of them look a little like your lurcher, I've found, except they tend to have more leaning towards the scent hound than the sight hound, so the ears are floppier and body a little heavier build.  I've not seen one as pretty as yours, though....I love the alert ears and lithe build on your dog.
