Get a nice big dog crate and put them both in it for a nap when you need a bit of time away from them.  They'll soon settle down when they know you wont let them out until they've had a sleep :) Good luck :D

I used a crate with our Neapolitan (always avoided them before we got her thinking they were cruel), and she is the first puppy that has never chewed the furniture etc, would recommend using one to everybody with a puppy. Plus you can then use it as an anti broody pen when your puppies no longer need it

A crate is supposed to make them feel secure, isn't it? We got one for our Collie to travel in the campervan, otherwise she's nearly on the dashboard or my head  ::) ::) ::) and its not really funny and it certainly isn't safe! Even though she didn't grow up with it, she has settled into using it from the first time she went in it. :)

 ??? ??? ??? ???
They do use their crate, they almost lived in a crate with their mummy, to keep them safe from their other 2 dogs.  They snuggle in it to go to bed at night, and when then start to doze off on my feet i lift them in it, breathing a huge sigh of relief.  They are so b***dy noisy. they play with each other, growling, barking and yelping, they chase and bark at and chew ANYTHING that moves,  with a special fondness for feet.

Lulu is quite happy to play with her toys, chewing and chasing her ball etc, but Tillie will have nothing to do with toys, and only wants to play with either Lulu (her tail in particular) and humans. She will follow her 'tug rope' Lulu will bat at it and play tug, but Tillie only wants to pounce and bite my hand. I remove my hand, and she sits all innocent, then pounces on Lulu and the noise and chasing and yelping and barking resumes.

They have just had a wonderful half hour playing in the snow, but it is too cold to let them stay out any longer than that in one go.

I am regretting my decision.  I'm too old and knackered and grumpy for TWO. Maybe just one would have been more sensible (I just wanted them to have company when I went to work  :( )

indeed. It works......for less than a second, They stop in shock and carry on. Not even time for me to reward them for being quiet.  They have just had another 20 mins out playing in the snow, had their tea, and are currently chasing eat other round the kitchen.  Another 10 mins or so, they will dutifully use their newspaper, the HOPEULLY have a little nap.  This is much worse than having a baby...maybe this is what it is like having twins.
