Hi from Guernsey
« on: September 04, 2021, 08:15 »
Hello my name is Jes, I live in Guernsey and I have not been involved in growing vegetables since I was quite young. My parents had a veg patch and I helped out.
I am living in rented accommodation and don't have any where to grow anything, I am taking on a new customer and as part of the job he would like me to grow veg. He has a fenced off area with raised beds, they dont look to bad considering they have not been used for a good few month's. He recently lost his wife and she was the one that grew the veg. He just wants some for him to use and I can have the rest.
I will get a list of things he likes to start with. What I need is a year planer with when to plant, I am going to check the local grow your own page on FB for plants ready to put in to get things started.
Regards  Jes

Hi, that sounds like a very agreeable solution for both of you  :)

Welcome to the site and good luck with the planning  :)
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Good luck. You'll also have the advantage of a slightly milder climate down there
