Just to let you know

I was up watching the spain v italy game last night, as you may be aware it went into extra time then penaltys, it was pretty dark by the time it had finished so I popped over to shut them up and Izzy (sussex) was still up scratching away!!!

Top without a doubt. Tho to be honest i rarely see them having a go at each other, she just seems to an active hen that loves foraging!
She does go but the last two nights she just wants to scratch around. Will see what she does tonight.

My top hen is also the last to go to bed.  They act as a guard making sure the rest of the flock are alright, taking the role of the cockerel I suppose.

I look down the garden and think they've all gone in so I go down to shut the coop door, and it doesn't matter how quiet I am they hear me and all come running back out We seem to play this game several times each evening until finally they decide it's too dark.
