Apple trees
« on: October 09, 2007, 09:18 »
Can anyone tell me what the band thing is called i need to put on my apple trees? My Mum seems to think i should be putting them on now to stop which ever little critters munch at them.

And where can i get them?

We also have pears, damson, plum and cherry - they don't seem to have any problems, the apples do look a bit rubbish this year.  Do i need to put anything on these to stop anything crawling up?

Thanks Guys!

You can get either the sticky bands, grease or pheromone traps for coddling moths, they should be available from all good garden centres.
