My PSB are at long last showing the florettes on what is looking like a small bush, would you advise removing the lower leaves at all or leave well enough along?

At this time of year I would only remove lower leaves if they die or are showing signs of some lurgy. The leaves are needed for the plant to grow. Cheers, Tony.

We've been eating our leaves, too irresistable to leave on the plant, got a few florets coming through too, gonna have to try and leave them about another month I reckon??

My early purple sprouting is doing really well now. I grew the summer one last year which gave me an Autumn crop but I didn't plant any lates so this will be it for months!
Shame....

I thought June & July were the only months for planting PSB out??
