Title: GM free feeds.
Post by: JaK on September 26, 2011, 21:20
I am looking for GM free feed brands, do you know of any?
I bought a localy made feed feeling pleased that I was supporting a local business BUT I realised after getting it home that it contains GM ingredients.
I'm not fussed about being all organic or anything but GM free would be nice at least.

I'm using these and they are GM free.  There is a stockist finder on the website but Countrywide do them for £5.99 if you have a branch near you.

I used to buy an organic mash, but it's gone up to silly prices.  These smell wholesome and my fussy lot wolf them.  They turn their beaks up at a lot of brands  ::)

I think Spillers layers pellets are GM free. I don't have a bag to check but they should be available nationally or check on their website. :)

I use Small Holder layers - is that Allen and Page?  They are GM free.  I think I pay about £8 ish for a 20kg bag.   :)

I used the Farmgate chick crumbs but I have to travel quite a way to get that brand of feed. I think I can get the Small Holder feed in town though, will have a look tomorrow. Thankyou for the help.
