I have found some more seeds in my shed that I had forgotton about some are unopened and some have been opened. They were sat in a sweets tin but the lid was off do you think they would germinate, most are flower seeds but there is the odd packet of veg.

I know most of you would say go for it but I don't want to waste compost if they are unlikely to grow.

Sprinkle a few of each on damp paper towel, if any germinate then try the rest in soil. Don't let the paper dry out though

Thanks Nikki will try and see what happens, does seem a shame to throw seeds away.
