hi,I'm a bit confused on spacing in my pollytunel I have 4ft each side of my path the recomended spacing for my tomatoes and peppers are 18inches apart so do I start the first row 18" from the pollytunel wall or 9" it's the difference between 2 rows or 3 if you get my drift I was just wondering because it's quite a difference in the amount but I don't want to overcrowd it either,any advice would be much appreciated

Nine inches would be fine, if you keep them well controlled

Zig zagging rows can sometimes squeeze a bit of space 

I need to say though that I have learned the hard way that sometimes you get a bigger crop with fewer plants, if they are better spaced and well fed
