Help please, I have just taken delivery of 72 plug plants for next year. They have been potted on and are doing well in the cold frame but as it gets colder I plan to put them in the green house. Will I need to put a heater in there or will it be enough if I just line it with bubble wrap?
Any advise would be helpful as I have never been down this road before

A mix of flowering for next summer, dianthus, aqualega, delphinium, lavender, gium etc Cant remember the rest

Wouldn't it be easier & cheaper to heat the cold frame?

If it's a pack of perennial border plants (sounds like it  ) then a cold greenhouse will be just fine

Thank you folks I'll go with the cold greenhouse I think, not practical to heat cold frame :happy:

My advice would be not to let them get too much water - they won't drink much water in winter, so it will take them longer to drink any water you do give them (compared to Summer) and having cold & wet feet will do more damage than them just being cold.  I would not pot them on during the winter for the same reason - don't provide a bigger pot, and more water, around the roots.

Yeah I've noticed they're not drinking much so I'm going to watch out for mould and damping off.
