Has anyone noticed any adverse effect from growing under debris netting?

I'm thinking of making cages/cloches with debris netting, but I am concerned about how much light will actually get through. (My lottie is well shaded already.) Fleece will presumably let more light through, but is flimsy by comparison

Thanks DD, I thought I'd seen a thread on it trecently but couldn't find it.  :oops:

I was a bit worried that it might just be a trade off against the butterflys, but if it is I guess it's a favourable one.
