Can anyone solve this eternal argument I have with Mrs Growster please...

Was it Hen Len, or Henny Penny?

Goose Loose, or Goosey Loosey?

When I was four, it was definitely the first one in the list...

Absolutely certain as I live and breath!

I also think the latter from my childhood too

Gotta love the beak that opens and closes and googly eyes that rotate!

The question is where to find chapter and verse (legalese) about size of egg prior to confronting Sainsbury's management?

Cheers,  Tony.
You probably don't need to be confrontational. A couple of weeks ago I phoned the customer careline just to let them know about a product not matching the description, and they refunded the cost of the product (via nectar points) while saying they'd investigate. The key is probably still having the egg box with its packer code number, so they know which supplier to check on. I'm sure they will guide you where to find that number on the box if you don't already know.

Thank you Snows!

Certain loss of marbles here, as we talked about this some time ago...

I guess we had one of those lovely old ladies in the village, running our pre-school, who decided that she'd write her new words into songs!

It's not just eggs,  Maynards Basset Jelly babies,  the pack says 165g the scales say 145g!  What product can I trust (weightwise) to calibrate my digital scales?

Cheers,   Tony.

A new pound coin weighs 8.75 gms, so maybe try a few of them!

I always have a load of these in the car for the inevitable car-park where the card machine doesn't work!
