We have zapped them with louse powder this morning and let them out into the yard to have a look at the snow. They have laid 6 eggs but we have just thrown these away (a waste I know but as we are not too sure where they have come from we will not be taking any chances for a week or so). One looks as though she is trying to catch midges as she is pecking at the air but they all seem interested in their surroundings and alert.  A couple have even been ducking when the blackbird flies over head!

Will post some more pics in a couple of months or so. Will do a before and after post to show the difference.
