Can't bear the woven stuff.

What do you recommend as good quality non-woven weed control fabric?

The non-woven stuff is bonded, like garden fleece, and like fleece falls apart quickly... so I wouldn't buy it.

Why don't you like the woven stuff?

I don't like it because it frays.

Make the holes with something like a gas weed killer/blow torch. I bought a cheap electric soldering iron on ebay and use the tip of that to cut and burn the edges.
The heat welds the threads together so they don't fray. It means I have to cut the sheet to size, plus cut the planting holes in it in my garden, before I can use them on the plot, but it works for me.
