it was a bad year for beets for me most got drowned but i sown some in august and there just comming good now ,cant think of the name but its the longer one.

yes . but use peat substitute stuff ,,, then dump it on ya plot or save for pots etc

The waxed boxes are fine if your sand will be damp, but not regular unwaxed boxes.
