Can't wait to meet you all.
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

Healthy looking piggies Rough- I guess it's sensible not to name them if you want to eat 'em later.

The pig that did not run round the feild 3 times and have me rugby tackle it to the ground will let me scratch its bacon.  Its amazing how much they sleep.   Suppose they do need beauty sleep. I must say I am a lot happier now than I was on Friday.  I remember lieing on the ground with pig after the 3rd escape and  the 7th rugby tackle both me and the pig where knackered.  I had the pig in a tight embrace and we just lay there for five mins. I was not looking forward to the getting up and the staggering back with the pig.  I was considering suckling pig.

Forgot to mention scared myself silly the first morning as there was no sign of the pigs. You could not see them. They appeared not to be in the arc...............

But they where under all the straw. at the bottom. covered!!!!!

They have slightly pink ears.
I have provided shade for them and they even have a wallow (they have not found it yet.)
They are spending all there time rooting.
They are not even eating all there nuts!!!

The shade are some pallets made into a wall and rood you can see it above to the left of the arc.

We do not have anywhere to keep them in the winter.  So they are off to slaughter.

Hmmm. I think I could manage that. Keep a lady pig, have piglets and sell them on to people.
 ;)
Reading your updates with interest, Roughlee, even though I'm a softie! Don't tell me when you send them away........... :(

One is getting very friendly.

Er I am trying to stop it. (the liking the porkers)
This video started off so well until I commented about its trotters.  I might as well as said "cooochycooooo little piggy"
OK I know that I have to get the pigs to like me. Just in case I have to get them to the vet and stuff.  Oh the one that I had to Rugby tackle to the ground 3 times when it escaped 3 times still does not trust me.
