Title: First good picking
Post by: prakash_mib on June 21, 2020, 18:24
Pretty chuffed considering I started digging on fifth of May.
Mooli leaves and the usual fat hen leaves.
Mooli is blowing head off and we finish it while chopping. It never reaches the dining table  :D

Not the first picking, but this year is the first we've actually had any cherries.
Usually squirrel nutkin has them all. My first lockdown task was to build a cage round the tree, it's nearly 3m high.
It proved very successful, squirrel nutkin didn't get a look in, ha!
You may have already seen Cynthia!
