so cross, lovely carrots grwing nicely in a large pot on the patio, some really tasty good sized ones, well obviously I'm not the only one who thinks so. The pot was overturned, all carrots munched and just the tops left scattered all over the place along with a load of compost (grrr). So upset as my first year of successful carrot growing!!

So on Sunday I planted, in the same pot some radish seeds, also a trough of salad seeds. Went outside this morning and something has dug holes in both containers??? We have a cat who is a good hunter so I don't think rats. Will have to net the pots tonight, install CCTV as well!!!

My dog loves carrots and if they were in a convenient self-serve pot wouldn't hesitate to tip and eat the goodies. So obviously your problem is something large enough to tip over a pot - dog, fox, badger, hungry child, etc

my hungry child is 20 and won't eat carrots...hehe I'm thinking badger
