Title: Grolsch Bottle Replacement Rubbers?
Post by: kopperdrake on July 20, 2009, 11:43
Hi all,

Not sure if anyone can help me - I usually loiter on the veggie and chook pages but my brother-in-law asked me if I knew where to get Grolch bottle replacement rubbers. He's starting to home brew beer - I bought him some of our local brewery's kit, John Thompson Brewery, and he's getting into it :) He's managed to get hold of a supply of Grolsch bottles but all of the rubbers have been removed by the bloke who'd collected them! So far he can only find replacements for 21p each, which is crazy!

Thanks for any advice,

Duncan

Can only suggest a home brew shop or an online search through the online home brew shops.

these bottle tops used to go for a pound a piece when I was at School in the 80's - Bros-ettes used to put them on their shoes...an interesting fact....

When I worked in Holland I could buy a crate of 20 for just over £5.

Would bring a couple of crates back, drink the beer and hand the bottles back at Waitrose for 70p each.

As 20x70p = £14 it meant we could drink the beer and get more for the empties then the original cost.  :D :D :D :D :D
