The last of Sunday’s beef in a hotpot/stew tonight, just pulled a lovely parsnip to go in it :D

Roast chicken, roast pots, sprouts, cauliflower and gravy.   Worked yesterday, boss has restaurant in tier 3 so this week's goodie was a frozen chicken and a couple of bottles of sauvignon blanc.

Layered bake of leeks, celeriac, spuds and Stilton. Shredded cabbage and radicchio on the side.

I had a serving of buttered cabbage with mine as some kind soul had left 6 small hard,round,cabbages for my chickens, so I brought one home :lol:

Lol should have gone to spec savers, the cod turned out to be smoked haddock! :unsure:. Could have turned out to be a new favourite at Cher snowdrop but I think in future cod, chips & mushy peas will be a better bet

Had youngest daughter here with my Granddaughter today.  Made a fish pie (with sweetcorn in as Isla will eat anything with it in)  Broccoli and green beans with.  She cleared her  plate and said it was yummy and she wished she'd had it before!  You could see from her mum's face that wasn't quite right.  :D

Pork Scratchings    -    broken down to bread crumbs and sprinkled before serving on to a traybake.  It was scrummy the rest today.  Don't need many scratching, just enough to make one curious  ;)
