We had sausage tray bake yesterday with potatoes, courgette and onion, plus some steamed chard on the side.

Tonight I am using the last bits of chicken, with some ham and veg, to make pot pies.  Pie mmmmmm :D  :D  :D

Spag bol, which was a thinly disguised plan to get rid of a large lurker courgette I found on the plot.  It worked as well, plus I have extra for the freezer ... so much for the plan to get the mince out as a 'clear the freezer' project prior to a defrost  ::)

Peri Peri chicken, whole chicken in the oven as I type.
Mainly because Mrs rocket found a jar of Lidls finest peri peri sauce, unopened, with a SBD of 2014. I have never cooked with a bought sauce before...ah well...if I don't post for a while, send for help.

I also got some mince out from the freezer and made Bobotie with new   potatoes, Very tasty, I just fancied a curry based dish but didn't want a 'proper' curry.

Spinach fresh from my sons allotment with poached eggs on top.  Glass of white wine, and an ice cream corner thingy for pud.  Husband away at his sister's so I can eat what I like,  not sure chocolate cake for breakfast was my best ever idea but I enjoyed it.

Yesterday it was left over roast lamb in a hotpot, bit warm for it but it freed me up to get on with other stuff.
Tonight it’s cod, new potatoes & peas

Today is my birthday!!!!

It's been another hectic week with problems abound on a current contract. The "can't be ars..." gene has kicked in I fear.
Kebabs it was...with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot...Only I can find that acceptable!
