Hi All,
I know this is a bit off the subject of Poultry etc but as you are a knowledgeable lot i thought the may be able to identify this horrible Grub i found in my bedroom it's the second one i have found between the carpet and skirting board :wacko: I promise i will post a pic of my new cheeky happy Novo Brown hens i have recently bought any advice on the Grub much appreciated as i cannot find a pic of it anywhere :nowink:

I think that it looks like a carpet moth grub. If it is you need to do something about it as they would ruin your carpets. :(

Hi and thanks for the suggestion but i think not as this grub is around 20mm long with a black dot on it's rear if that helps ;)

Thank you and yes they are the pics taken are on the day i bought them and put them in my run they instantly settled in very friendly and chatty they are to and very inquisitive best hens i have had so far ;) :D

think it is a caterpillar.not sure what type.

LOL Barley i like it :D but NO i didn't i don't fancy eating bits of unknown creatures in me eggs :nowink: ;)

Mystery solved im sure it's a Weevil Grub of some sort that has come from our log burning stove logs which we keep in a cupboard under the stairs :nowink:
