Does anyone have a link to a diagram or video which shows in easy steps how to fit a replacement drive belt to a Hayter Harrier 41 Autodrive lawnmower (Code 306R)? Thank you.

hi you don't say whether the drive is from the side or the underneath of the engine if its side drive its just  a matter of knocking a roll pin out the pulley at the engine to remove that end and remove the cover from the side of the gear box  replace the new one over the pulley making sure the jockey pulleys in the right position if its the underneath one you have to remove the blade first then slip the belt over the pulley then it goes to the gear box this type of drive has the gear box in permanent drive with a lever on the top or underneath if its a variable speed model it will need 2 belts one from the  engine to the top pulley the other from the bottom pulley to the gear box the variable speed pulleys are a pig to get the belts on I found it was easier to use one long belt  from engine to gearbox and disconnect  variable speed pulley which was replaced 3 times in a season march to October £80.00 a pulley plus labour and a six week wait was no joke  jezza
