That's kind of you to say so, Linda.

But unfortunately (or luckily for us) you will have to give them away here as we don't allow selling

Hi Linda, yes indeed that how does look good!

If you put your location in your profile, it will show up so that you don't have to keep telling people whereabouts you are!  :)

Hi I am looking to buy another of this type of hoe for my Son. I have never seen this type in the shops and garden centers and just wondered if anyone has any ideas where I could purchase one. It is absolutely brilliant. It belonged to my Father so it must be about 30 years old, and my Son and I fight over it LOL. Thanks. Linda

just possibly seen one of these hoes on e,bay in used gardening tools listed as a Kleen kut saynor john bull the one on here may be worn away on the lower left hand side ..
Grow organic as nature intended

I think you've got it :)

The left side I think has been cut away.

It looks like i have ....I think the john bull roadster bit is the writing off the rubber grip handle which when i googled is the handle bar grip from a old push bike ..So the kleen kut saynor must refer to the hoe ...Typed in kleen kut saynor came up with kleen kut horticultral cutlery sheffield Mr w saynor ...

It does look home made as I made a similar one for my metalwork exam in the
Late 80s ,I also made a triangular shaped one with the handle mount welded to the centre.

If my memory serves me well the serrations were cut using a half round file and then tempered to harden them so they resemble the blades of the prestige knife blades

P.s I may try to replicate one when I get my workshop set up again
