I've just been to B&Q for some wood chips for the run, however its been stained red. Does anyone know if this will be ok for the chickens anyway?

Hi Amy6, I have used the red woodchips from the same place, they assure me that they use a vegetable dye, worse thing that will happen is you may have red legged chooks for a couple of days!

I USE THE SAME WOOD CHIPPINGS FROM B&Q WITH NO PROBLEMS

Thanks to you both, I looked around and it says that its an all natural dye, safe for animals and children, Put it down and yep red legged chickens! 
The run looks good though...
