If I was to believe everything written on the side of the packet about tulsi tea I would be on another spiritual plain and looking forward to another 1000 years of good health.


BUT it is possible to grow holy basil in a greenhouse. Has anyone done that and what were the results?

I grow thai holy basil in the greenhouse very successfully, it's my favourite herb and it's a stunning looking plant.

i''ve been given a gift of a holy basil plant. i'm interested to know how you use it. What do you use it in?

Also my plant is flowering, if i stick it in the polytunnel, should i take out the flower and how long should it crop for?

This seems a really interesting and pretty plant to grow, I fancy trying one of these.

...BUT....is it just my age or my childish sense of humour that thinks it sounds like an exclamation from a 70's Batman film?!
