Seeds & Peanuts

Possibly a silly question but being new im going to ask anyway, can I give my ladies any wild bird seed or nuts that are on sale in the pet shop?

Is there anything I should avoid?

Hi. I don't know about the peanuts, sorry. BUT, I do give mine sunflower hearts in with their mixed corn (I don't feed pellets or mash, make up my own feed), and also various seeds that I buy from the pet supplier. Hemp seeds and millet and crushed maize certainly, can't actually remember the seeds in the bag of mix I bought day before yesterday.

I did post a list of seeds and grains some time ago, I'll see if I can find it for you.
