had the hens nearly 2 weeks now, and was beginning to think they weren't going to lay, but yesterday we had 2 eggs.
I wanted to put a pic on here but I don't know how, can anybody help me out with this?

You need to have your photo hosted somewhere "on the net" a lot of us use "photobucket" :
http://photobucket.com/register.php
When your photo is on ther copy the
IMG
tag from under the picture and paste it into your post here.

thank you!!! I thought maybe I was being a bit daft, I must admit, I couldn't understand why everyone got so excited about that first egg, but now... I understand perfectly, but is it a one of experience:?: will I be as chuffed with the next ones (that is supposing I get some more!)

cani just offer this tip to folks who havent had thier first egg ....... its blooming briliant i still get a buzz out of it when one my new exotics lays n egg.......... oh and another serios tip your egg will be more deep yellow the more fresh greens the hens have acces to ( promise )

Whooopppeeeeee!
As of Saturday, I can join the 'had my first egg' club
. It was just dumped in the snow :shock: !
But it tasted great, and number 2 (laid in the nest box) has just finished cooking....
