Hello all, iv just sent a form back to the council to rent plot 2 so i can make plot 1 into 2 :? .
Anyway if i get it i want some chooks, about 6 i recon.
I was thinking of making a run out of harris fence you know the bar n mesh stuff, so how big should i make it and how deep should i bury the bottom rail to stop mr fox :?:

One more thing what chooks would you go for :?:  an hybrid or pedigre :idea: Any help would be great .

as big as you can and about 18inch deep ,welsumers n buff orps .. and buff orp bantams   put a roof on it and smaller mesh around the frame where the ground is to stop ferrets stoats etc

Cheers munjak  we have a poultry  and pony market every first saturday of the month cant wait to get goin, and the digger will come in handy for the 18inch deep bit

Don't forget to relace it periodically as the bit in the ground will corrode quicker than that above  :!:
