Sweet Potatoes

Hi everyone, still new to growin your own, i was wanting to know if ts possible to grow sweet potatoes in UK, i'm in the Durham area of the north east, cheers guys

I think it's possible. I never tried. Someone will come along who has tried I'm sure.

You can grow them in UK, but the slips can be expensive. They need a polytunnel or greenhouse all year round oop north, especially in cold Durham

Welcome morganmarni.. you can grow sweet potatoes anywhere if you have the right growing conditions, even in the North Pole.
Which part of Durham you from.. i used to live over that way before emigrating to Jarra...lol
