Went to the chicken coop this morning opened the door and was literally covered with these pesky things. They climbed up my arms and into my hair. Help can anyone advise me on the best products these days for killing them because I'm not sure as I've not had poultry for a couple of years and have just started again. Please advise on the best way to rid them once and for all. Any information would be good thanks

I asked a few months back and got some good replies. If you look back at this thread you will find loads of good info. I was at the end of my tether but bought a cheap zip up decoraters suit from bnq and a mouth protecter and rubber gloves. We had millions in and outside but after a few days hard graft they went. I also made a solution of kitten flea shampoo in a bucket of warm water and gently plunged the hens and washed them. Its going to be a lovely warm week so ideal for deep cleaning.
