A friend pinched a rogue strawberry off one and said it tasted awfull, could well be down to poor growing conditions mind.

Thanks for the tip, went down today, bought 12 plants for 4 quid, and there are at least 12 good size runners.. so all in all a right bargain, and made sure I only bought varieties I didn't already have
