In MK the hedgehogs are falling over from lack of water.The local Sanctuary had 14 brought in over the weekend.They advise if you can leave out some water to which you add 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of salt it will quickly rehydrate them.

Yes you can eat hedgehogs but I would wait until the fatten up. They are a little scrawny at the moment :D

If you see a hedgehog and its making shivering movements this is a sign that it's dehydrated and in need of water.
Gardening organically on chalky, stony soil.
