Title: What is this in the egg I just cracked open?!?

Please tell me what you think this is I found in the egg, put off of eggs for life now.

Did you see the film Alien? ...  :D

It's just a big blood spot. When the egg is being made inside the hen a little bit of tissue became detached and ended up inside the egg. It's not common but neither is it very rare, although that is quite a big one.
I'd have fished it out with a teaspoon and cooked the egg but I can understand it being off-putting.
