Hi I have a blackcurrant plant, which is grown in a pot, and I have notice some of the leaves have started going yellow, and there has been a few larvae around the soil at the base eating at the woody part of the plant ... what are these larvae and how can I treat it

The yellowing leaves might just be a nutrient deficiency or age, but as for the larvae we could do with a description if possible please - colour, size, whether visible during the day or night.

the larvae are below soil level, creamy coloured and about 4 to 5 mm in length

Could be vine weevil larvae which like living in pots and look like this:

that looks like them will have to get some treatment stuff for them ... hopefully will sort it! thank you
