Hubby ordered the wrong shed
« on: March 04, 2007, 08:45 »
Hubby gets a discount so I asked him to order me a metal shed, he has ordered one without a base (Iwanted the one with a base) now daft question time - I would be better off cancelling this order and getting the shed with a base (have to wait a bit longer) than trying to sort out a base for the one he ordered?  If I keep the one he ordered what do I use as a base?
Thanks

Nice one David but won't he smell a bit and if I was to go to the trouble of laying concrete or flags over him I may as well keep him so he can do the lifting.

In some ways he is really intelligent but mainly he is just blooming thick.

Interesting that you assumed hubby was to be killed ...

Back on subject, I inherited sheds with concrete bases and they are very nice to have.   Provided you can anchor your shed down against the wind, then what main purpose(s) does the floor serve?  Vermin? Waterproof? Vandals (oops already covered by vermin)?

I know somone who still has a packed earth floor in the house he lives in!

So I cancel this order and get him to order the right one?  Thought as much but its better to check these things.

Thanks Muntjac your a star.  And of course I assumed he would be dead David, I would be evicted from the plot if I left him alive and complaining.

You'd need some gaffer tape to keep him quiet
