Hi all got what i think is mildew on the end leaves of the branches , can i do some thing now or wait till the apples are finished , there is a mother load this year.

If it is only the tips I would snip the off and burn them as they possibly wouldn't recover anyway. You should be summer pruning in a few weeks anyway so you're not going to lose much. Probably less than if you tried to treat it with the further loss before any treatment really starts to work.

Just to point out that most apple trees should not be pruned in the summer.

Ive never summer pruned any thing just pinch off any damaged leaves , will this stuff damage the apples , i think its been to damp here hope things will dry out abit .

Mildew shouldn't spread to the apples, but rain drops will splash spores on other leaves and the more leaves that get affected, the more chance the tree will drop fruit to save resources.

If it is only the very ends of the branches, pinch off the damaged leaves as you normally do and get rid of them out of the garden
