Rhubarb problems
« on: May 18, 2011, 20:26 »
I brought myself a lovely champagne rhubarb plant put in my garden with plenty of compost and kept it well watered during this dry spell. Now one by one the leafs are turning brown from the bottom up and dying off what am I doing wrong.

If you put it in recently it's probably just transplant shock.....it's sulking.....keep watering and give it a good mulch of well rotted manure in the autumn and it'll repay you in the spring.
