In short, yes.

But why? Do you mean from last year? Mine are starting to flower and that's what they will do. Only worth for the seed and flavouring.

I gave up on my celery & pulled it up. Left it there a week or two (loose on top of its pot) & forgot about it - next time I looked it'd replanted itself & looked lovely
Funny stuff, has a mind of its own I've sussed. It actually looks like celery now, has shot up. Just had to be threatened

Mine are more like 2 inches, don't seem to be growing much. Is there anything special I should be doing. Its the first time I've grown these. They were sown about 2 months ago and are in small pots.

Mine were sown early last Sept in buckets in the greenhouse, did nothing forever and a day, but after I pulled them up and just left them & forgot about them they're now full-size proper celery. Took 9 months, though
Wouldn't expect yours to take so long at this time of year? But someone who knows will tell you

Never let them dry out, other than that, just harden off and plant, it'd be great for them to be put outside for tonight - slug measures - will be mild and soaking here.

They are very slow to start with, will shoot off soon. :)
